Am Mittwoch, 9.12.2020, sprechen um 17:00 Uhr Maria Anna Potocka, Direktorin des MOCAK Museum für Gegenwartskunst Krakau und Jürgen Kaumkötter, Direktor des Museums Zentrum für verfolgte Künste Solingen über ihre gemeinsamen Projekte, insbesondere über das Buch “Die Polyphonie des Holocaust”.

Auf dem Gelände der ehemaligen Fabrik von Oskar Schindler errichtet, ist die Arbeit des MOCAK immer auch der Auseinandersetzung mit der Gedenkstätte und der Erinnerungskultur gewidmet. Ein Projekt in diesem Zusammenhang ist die Herausgabe des Bandes „Polyphonie des Holocaust“, der nun in zwei Sprachen vorliegt. In der heutigen ZOOM-Konferenz werden einige der vielen teilnehmenden Stimmen – eine davon: die Nobelpreisträgerin Olga Nawoja Tokarczuk – zu hören sein.

Built on the site of Oskar Schindler‘s former factory, the MOCAK‘s work is also always dedicated to coming to terms with the memorial and the remembrance culture. One project in this context is the publication of the volume “Polyphony of the Holocaust”, which is now available in two languages. In today‘s ZOOM conference some of the many participating voices – one of them: Nobel Prize Winner Olga Nawoja Tokarczuk – will be heard.
